Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems is a company within the Meggitt PLC with over 30 years experience in development of carbon-carbon (C-C) composite materials for extreme environments and applications such as aerospace brakes, nuclear reactor tiles and medical implants. We are now developing a new generation of composite materials that will contain nano-carbon materials such as carbon nanotubes and carbon nanofibres for improvements in mechanical, thermal and sensing properties of the composite. We are offering sub-scale manufacturing of these composites, testing and research expertise in the field of carbon nanotube/nanofibre synthesis and composites (Dr Bojan O. Boskovic).
